Kung Pao Chicken with Roasted Peanuts

How to Prepare

• In a frying pan or pot, heat half of the olive oil. Add the diced onion and crushed garlic and sauté until lightly golden.
• Remove from the pan and set it aside.
• In the same pan, add the remaining olive oil and a pinch of salt. Add the diced peppers and mushrooms and cook for about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside on the same plate or another one, if you prefer.
• Using the same pan, add the chicken and cook until golden brown on all sides.
• Return all the ingredients to the pan with the chicken. Stir everything together using a wooden spoon and sauté for a few more minutes until well combined.
• In a cup, mix the soy sauce, cornstarch, and the water.
• Pour the mixture into the pan with the chicken.
• Stir constantly until a thick sauce forms.
• Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with Fazenda Daal Skinless and Unsalted Roasted Peanuts.
• Serve hot.
